What is the Mat-Su Convention & Visitors Bureau?
Non-profit organization formed in 1986 to promote the Mat-Su visitor industry. Currently has a 10-member board of directors representing nearly 300
members, mostly small tourism business owners in the Mat-Su Borough. Staff: 4 year-round full-time employees, 6 seasonal, part-time employees.
Mat-Su Convention & Visitors Bureau's Mission:
The Mat-Su Convention & Visitors Bureau markets the Mat-Su Valley as a visitor destination for the benefit of its members.
The Mat-Su Convention & Visitors Bureau actively promotes the development and advocacy of the local tourism industry by creating awareness of visitor
attractions, services and facilities.
Visitor Center Overview and Management
The Mat-Su CVB is housed in the Mat-Su Visitors Center, at Mi. 35.5 Parks Hwy.
