The Ocean Shores is recommended by the New York Times,
Frommer’s, Lonely Planet and Alaska for Dummies.  National Geographic,
The Travel Channel, and The Audobon Society have all enjoyed our
facilities.  Our modern beachfront rooms over look the private beach and
have one of the best views in Alaska.  This includes spectacular Kachemak
Bay, mountains, volcanoes, glaciers and tidal pools.  

All of our buildings are terraced on a four acre hillside giving every room an
ocean view and beach access.  We are located in a quiet residential area
yet only one block from downtown Homer’s restaurants, shops, art galleries
and museum.  

We welcome email inquires especially from out of country visitors.

PAYMENT METHODS
Above is the view from our beachfront rooms.  
Rich tide pools, Kachemak Bay, and the Kenai Mountains are in the
background.  The terrace and hillside rooms have a similar view of the Bay
and mountains.

All the rooms have a private balcony (with the exception of the
kitchenettes), microwave, fridge, dining table with chairs, coffee, cable TV
and wireless internet.  The kitchenettes in addition  have a four burner
stove with oven, dishes, pans  and dining utensils.  The beachfront and
terrace rooms have two queens while the remaining rooms have a queen
and twin (single) bed.

The beachfront and terrace buildings are both modern construction while
the hillside and kitchenette buildings are recently renovated.
